AHA Pediatric CPR

Service Description

This course covers infant and child CPR, AED, first aid and choking emergencies. Students will receive a two year certification. Certifications available through American Heart Association Evolving Academy can help prepare your team for emergencies with our expert-led BLS Group Training. Rather you are an organization, business, or healthcare providers, businesses, this course covers essential life-saving techniques, including CPR, AED usage, and basic life support (BLS) skills. We also assist teams and groups by coming to you or scheduling a personalized training session at our facility. With our flexible group training sessions, it will ensure your team gains hands-on experience and confidence to act swiftly in critical situations. THIS COURSE COVERS • Students will learn why it's important to start CPR as soon as possible • Students will learn how to assess the situation and identify any potential dangers • Students will learn how to check for responsiveness and breathing in a victim • Performing chest compressions to keep blood flowing to organs • How to perform rescue breaths to provide oxygen to the lungs. • How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to shock the heart back into a normal rhythm
